Product Review: World’s Best Cat Litter

I’m always on the hunt for the world’s best cat litter. A recent research taught me that newborn kittens shouldn’t be exposed to clumping cat litter, but now I learned that there’s a different type of cat litter that is safe. I’ve been testing it for a couple of weeks now and I’m ready to give you my feedback. This review comes from a household of 7 cats (and 3 dogs). The new cat litter I discovered is actually called “World’s Best Cat Litter” and apparently they are correct. When I first saw the advertisements for World’s Best Cat Litter on the television, I laughed out loud thinking the company was really smart to use that name. A few weeks later, I was fed up with the crystal cat litter and decided to give World’s Best Cat Litter a shot, after finding out that it is SAFE.

Here’s what World’s Best Cat Litter claims:

1. World’s Best Cat Litter ends odor the best. I believe that to be true, compared to all the other types of cat litter I have personally tested.
2. World’s Best Cat Litter clumps the quickest. I’m not sure about the speed, but it sure forms nice compact neat little clumps that are easy to dispose of.
3. World’s Best Cat Litter scoops the easiest. True again, but I found that I was better off using a metal cat litter scoop, so I had to purchase yet another type of litter scoop.
4. World’s Best Cat Litter lasts the longest. I believe that it actually lasts about as long as any other clumping cat litter.
5. World’s Best Cat Litter is pet and people safe because it’s made from all-natural ingredients with no added chemicals and no silica. That is what sold me initially. No silica means that I could use it for the sensitive maturing kittens.
6. World’s Best Cat Litter is planet friendly. It is 100% biodegradable. SOLD! I can have my cats and not hurt the environment. Plus World’s Best Cat Litter is septic-tank safe and flushable.

It wasn’t a tough decision to give this cat litter a test drive, but how did the kittens do with the change in litter? Below you can see fun kitten pictures of them using the cat litter boxes.

For the kittens, the cat litter and their litter boxes are just another play land. Part of their socialization takes place as they learn how to use the litter box.

  1. That is good that you found one you like. I will be honest – we use clay. We had used a wheat based with the kittens when they were little and switched over – because Barney wanted to eat it. He is kind of a dork. I have heard good things about the Worlds Best, but being corn based (and the fact that he tries to eat both popcorn and corn tortillas) I decided not to even try it – because I know he will just eat it.

And yeah, the litter box is a big playland a lot of the time – Barney and Virgil were both crazy about playing in the litter. The kittens didn’t ever do that (at least not after they moved in here) and none of the older group did either. The problem is that they usually look really cute, but it is just so gross too!

I use nothing but WBCL since just after I got my cat. My foster kittens usually try to eat it at first, just out of curiosity, but after a day or two they stop doing that and just use it for litter.
