Back by popular demand, okay, a sole request, I have more newborn kitten pictures in my archives to share. In the ones in today’s article, two things stand out: The nursing cat mom has been attentive from day one and the dilute tortie kitten was the ugliest newborn kitten I have ever seen. She’s like the ugly duckling. One day she looked like that and now, only two months later, she’s possibly my prettiest kitten!

I used to think these were the prettiest newborn kittens in the world, but now I realize, they looked a bit like rats. The kittens are way more fun once they’ve grown a bit, and they sure look prettier once they’re past the newborn phase.
