Kitten Health: Booster Shots & Cat Vet Visit/Charlie

Kitten health update after second vet visit:

My Charlie! He’s the tuxedo kitten that does the splits. He’s the one who comes screaming and running every time I enter the room. He’s also the only kitten that sings both when using the kitty litter and when getting his temperature taken, ehem. What can I say? He passed his physical with flying colors. My tuxedo kitten now weighs 3 pounds and 5 ounces at 69 days of age. He’s been screened for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and he’s thriving. He also got the second round of the deworming medication. Administering cat pills is not my forte, so I spaced it so that I could have the expert cat vet do it. Phew!

Below you get to see kitten pictures of Charlie’s vet visit:

He was a good boy! He got all his boosters and his pill without a complaint. He was actually pretty intrigued by the new surroundings and wanted to explore. Because kitten shots aren’t fully effective until a few days past the booster shots, we didn’t let him explore as there may have been germs and diseases lying around. As soon as he was reunited with his nursing cat mom, he passed out from exhaustion. It had been quite a day.
