In my earlier post about how to kitten proof your home, I mentioned the value of cat proof furniture and especially vertical climbing surfaces. That’s where the cat tree comes handy. Our cat tree has provided endless entertainment to our kittens that prefer their cat tree to our curtains, so far. The kittens love climbing, swatting at each other through the different tiers and holes, sleeping, and even nursing on their cat tree.

The kittens also don’t seem to tire of their tree. Once their nursing cat mom lets them out of their sight, I have a surprise for them. I got an extra cat tree for our outdoor cat enclosure.

ACK SO CUTE! Serously I come on to check google reader before I leave for the day and it is a bunch of super cuteness!
Oh, and I discovered the easiest way to kittenproof. 1) Remove everything from the room. 2) Put in cat furniture. That’s it. Or just get crummy furniture that you don’t mind getting wrecked. I should have followed that advice actually!
