Kitten Pictures

Kitten development: As my son put it, the newborn kittens are running and sliding all over the room. Indeed, the sweet little fuzz balls are now quite mobile. They are constantly messing with one another. The bright calico kitten likes to play with the tuxedo kitten. They are both rather advanced in their development compared to the rest of the litter. The dilute calico kitten is a big time thumb sucker. When she’s not playing or exploring, she’s usually on her back sucking on her paw. The fawn kitten sleeps a lot and then wonders on her own, unless she’s in the mood to throw herself in the huddle where she can lick, scratch, and bite her brother and sisters. The fawn and white one, loves her solitude. All the kittens are healthy and they all interact, it’s just that some are more social, at least at this point.

We also worked as a team regarding the kitten socialization issue that’s bothering me. Today, we took our well trained chiweenie dog in the room with Farrah. We also brought a squirt bottle. We used it. I think from now on I’ll be “borrowing” the kittens bringing them to the dogs instead of bringing the dogs in the “nursery”. My ultimate goal though is to be able to give the nursing cat, Farrah a good permanent home. I wish she understood that.

Let’s enjoy some kitten pictures now. Every set of pictures shows the kitten development.

I think your kittens are adorable, but you should pay special attention to them since some kittens don’t survive during the first two months. At least pick a choice cat food and avoid the dusty clumping litter.
